You should understand how much bandwidth you will need every month before you sign up for a mobile broadband contract. If you don't know, you could be spending too much on a broadband contract with a monthly data allowance that you'll never reach.

Optus broadband comes with an Internet Usage Meter that tells you how much of your usage you have used.
