News: Windows Mobile 7 is ready to manufacturers
08/09/2010
Microsoft has announced that the much anticipated Windows Mobile 7 operating system is ready for the mobile phone manufacturers.
Phone manufacturers are receiving the RTM (Release To Manufacturing) version, which allows them to customise the software to suit the different handset requirements. If we are lucky, we probably will see the first Windows Mobile 7 smartphone starts appearing in time for Christmas.
So far previews on Windows Mobile 7 OS are very positive, and Microsoft will have a good chance to fight back against Apple iPhones and Google Android enabled phones such as Samsung Galaxy S, Sony Ericsson X10 and HTC Desire.
